Here are our end-of-year deadlines, carefully set to ensure we can deliver your orders in time for the Holidays. Our dates are always a little cautious because everything we do is made to order, and we ship all over the world. Earlier cut offs help us manage stock requirements, queries, proofs etc. and production during the busiest season. Couriers will also be under heavy demand, so we encourage you to get in early & allow extra time for shipping. As always we always get a lot more work out post cut off, but materials sometimes do run out depending on demand, and not all requests can be met. To View More >>

I've just finished re-watching Barry Schwartz's Ted Talk on The Paradox of Choice. He makes this very important point: Too much choice produces paralysis. Offer people too much choice and they'll find it very difficult to choose at all. Yes, at Queensberry we offer a lot of choice! We know that. We do it because every photographer is different. And we agree, as Barry Schwartz says, that it can be difficult to get your head around. But … if you want to sell products, you need to make the effort, not leave it to your customers.  As our designer friend Donna says, to run a design To View More >>

We love it when one of our staff members gets an album made for themselves. We spend most of our time creating handmade products for photographers, but we like to walk the talk when it comes to printing our photos. Maddy works in the Queensberry bindery and she's let us share her Portrait Album with you. Take a look.  "I made my own scrapbook style photo albums when I was younger and printed photos to frame. This is the second Queensberry album I've made.  "I wanted to make a gift for my partner, Simba, to celebrate the adventures we’ve had together so far, including a To View More >>

The beautiful imagery in our album of the week caught our attention as it went through the bindery — we love how the natural elements and earthy tones work perfectly with the Tan Faux Leather. Photographer Jon Gazzignato of Tasmania, Australia, shared some of the stand-out moments from the day. "The wedding was held at Riversdale Estate in Tasmania during Summer. The ceremony was supposed to be out on the courtyard overlooking the vineyard and Coal River Valley." "Just as the bride was about to walk out, a storm struck and the 80+ guests had to run for cover. Even with digital images and online galleries everywhere, the most impressive way to show off your work is with a printed portfolio. A printed book shows more than your photography skills. It expresses your design abilities, your taste in materials and your high standards as an artist. If you're thinking about creating your own portfolio, here are some ideas to get you started. They're not like wedding and portrait albums Sample albums normally mimic what you want to sell. They show prospective clients what to expect, and help them visualise their To View More >>

A printed portfolio of your work is a great way to attract new clients, land jobs and leave a lasting impression. And you can take it with you — never show up to a meeting empty-handed again! A high-quality, well-edited portfolio signifies the value of your work and helps you stand out from the crowd. These examples illustrate the variety of photographers we create these for, and the different types of books we make for them. Click the '+' buttons for lip-smacking close-ups. We are in love with this wedding and album! The  gorgeous wedding was photographed by Natalija Brunovs from We Are All Stardust, Australia. Check out that beautiful custom embossing, complete with gold foil! Colour co-ordinating your album with your wedding outfits is such a great idea, especially when they're gold and royal blue. The gold foil looks great with our Starry Night Buckram. In fact all of our Buckrams look great embossed. You can request custom embossing and gold or silver foil by emailing us. Please state the album type, size, and cover material you will To View More >>

The presentation boxes our albums come in don’t even bear our name, but to us, and our customers, they're a key part of our identity, and express the quality and classic design we stand for. Like Tiffany’s Blue Boxes … but maybe not quite as famous! Our boxes must be intensely practical too, and work across a huge variety of sizes, colours and cover materials. So when we redesigned them in 2016 we didn't throw out the old ones, we refreshed and upgraded them — with more silkscreen passes, new colours and matching grey To View More >>
